At MoroccosRoots , we bring authentic Moroccan craftsmanship to customers around the world. All orders are prepared and shipped directly from Morocco .
Because many of our products are handmade, made to order, or available for preorder, preparation and delivery times may vary depending on the product.
1. Where We Ship
MoroccosRoots offers international shipping to destinations worldwide, subject to carrier availability and local shipping restrictions.
If we are unable to deliver an order to your destination, we will contact you and refund any payment made for the affected order.
2. Order Processing Time
Standard in-stock orders are normally prepared for shipment within 3–7 days after the order has been successfully placed and payment has been confirmed.
This processing period is separate from the estimated shipping/transit time.
Orders placed during public holidays, busy periods, or promotional periods may require additional processing time.
3. Handmade, Customized & Preorder Products
Some MoroccosRoots products, particularly handmade rugs and customized pieces, may be produced specifically for your order or offered on a preorder basis.
These products may require additional production time before shipment.
When a product has a longer production or preparation period, the relevant information will be displayed on the product page or communicated to you as part of your order.
The estimated international delivery period begins once the order has been completed, prepared, and handed to the carrier.
4. Estimated International Delivery Time
Once your order has been dispatched, estimated delivery is generally:
- Europe: approximately 10–30 days
- United Kingdom: approximately 10–30 days
- United States & Canada: approximately 10–30 days
- Middle East: approximately 10–30 days
- Other international destinations: approximately 10–30 days
These estimates apply after dispatch.
For customized, handmade, or preorder products, production time must be added to the delivery estimate.
Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Customs procedures, destination-country requirements, remote-area delivery, weather conditions, carrier disruptions, public holidays, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery times.
5. Shipping Carriers
We primarily use trusted international carriers, including:
- DHL
- FedEx
The carrier used for an individual order may depend on the destination, parcel size, product type, availability, and shipping requirements.
6. Shipping Costs
International shipping is a paid service .
Shipping charges generally range from approximately €20 to €60 , depending on factors including:
- Delivery destination
- Product weight
- Parcel dimensions
- Number of products
- Shipping method
- Carrier
The applicable shipping charge will be shown to you during checkout before you complete your purchase.
When shopping in USD, the applicable shipping cost may be displayed or converted into the corresponding currency at checkout.
7. Customs Duties, Import Taxes & Local Charges
MoroccosRoots ships orders internationally from Morocco.
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, clearance charges, or other fees imposed by the destination country.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise during checkout, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge and are the responsibility of the recipient.
MoroccosRoots does not determine or control charges imposed by foreign customs authorities.
Customs rules vary by country. We recommend checking the requirements applicable in your destination country before ordering if you are unsure.
Customers are responsible for providing any information or documentation reasonably requested by the carrier or customs authorities for delivery.
8. Order Tracking
When tracking is available for your shipment, tracking details will be provided after your order has been dispatched.
Please allow some time after dispatch for tracking information to become active in the carrier’s system.
Customers may also use our Track My Order page when available.
9. Delivery Address
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.
Please review your address carefully before completing checkout.
If you notice an error, contact MoroccosRoots as soon as possible.
If the order has not yet shipped, we will make reasonable efforts to update the address.
Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee that the carrier will be able to change its destination.
Additional shipping costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete customer-provided address may be charged to the customer where permitted by applicable law.
10. Failed or Refused Delivery
Customers are responsible for cooperating with the carrier and, where applicable, customs authorities to complete delivery.
If an order is returned to Morocco because:
- Delivery was refused
- The customer failed to collect the parcel
- An incorrect or incomplete address was provided
- Required customs information was not supplied
- Applicable import charges were not paid
we will review the order after the parcel has been returned to us.
Any refund will be handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy .
Reasonable costs arising from the failed delivery may be deducted from the refund where permitted by applicable law and where the failed delivery was attributable to the customer.
11. Delayed Shipments
International shipments can occasionally experience delays outside our control.
A delay caused by customs, carriers, weather, local authorities, public holidays, or similar circumstances does not automatically mean that an order has been lost.
If your shipment appears significantly delayed, please contact us so that we can investigate the shipment with the carrier.
12. Lost Shipments
If tracking indicates that your parcel may be lost, please contact MoroccosRoots.
We may open an investigation with DHL, FedEx, or the applicable carrier.
If the shipment is confirmed as lost, we will provide an appropriate replacement or refund in accordance with the circumstances of the order and applicable consumer law.
13. Damaged Packages
Please inspect your order when it arrives.
If your parcel or product arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery whenever reasonably possible and provide clear photographs of:
- The damaged product
- The complete product
- The external package
- The internal packaging
- The shipping label
Please keep the original packaging while your claim is being reviewed.
The 48-hour reporting request helps us submit carrier claims quickly. It does not remove or limit any mandatory consumer rights that may apply to defective or damaged goods.

14. Handmade Product Characteristics
Many MoroccosRoots products are individually handmade by Moroccan artisans.
Small variations in colour, pattern, weave, texture, dimensions, embroidery, ceramic glaze, wood grain, leather, wool, metal finish, or other artisanal details may naturally occur.
These variations are part of the character of handmade craftsmanship and make each piece unique.
Normal handmade variations are not automatically considered defects.
However, if your product is materially different from its description, damaged, or genuinely defective, please contact us.
15. Cancellation Before Shipment
Standard orders may be cancelled before they are shipped.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you want to cancel an order.
Customized or made-to-order products are subject to different cancellation conditions. Once production of a customized product has started, the order can no longer be cancelled, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
